"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" --Psalm 46:10 (NKJV)
Be still in your heart. God, your Creator, knows everything about you -- His masterpiece! At such, it would be an exercise in futility to withdraw from Him or hide your innermost thoughts from Him.
Why not let the Good Physician examine your heart today and set your heart aright? "Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." (Psalm 139:23-34; NKJV)
Humble yourself before God, pray, seek His face and turn from your wicked ways (i.e., anything that offends Him) and see how God will answer your prayer and the more. When God appeared to Solomon a second time, He said to him,"When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:13-14;NKJV)
Be still in your mind. Worrying is the way of this world and part of carnal-minded relapse of redeemed believers while pursuing the Way of Christ Jesus.
As you put on the mind of Christ as Paul of Tarsus did, you would embrace this spiritual-minded stance and faith: "Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7; AMP)
Let God be God (omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient) and put your trust in Him rather than horses (natural strength; horsepower) or chariots (inanimate status symbols of strength promoted in a worldly system such as fast car, wealth and fame). He is a personal God who cares for you as only He can when nobody is around.
Be still in your activities. Do not get so busy until you have no time for personal time with Him or weekly gathering unto Him in worship. Christ alone is the true vine (John 15:1); you need to stay connected to Him in close fellowship. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." (John 15:5; NKJV)
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples." (John 15:7-8; NKJV)

"Still"
Hide me now
Under Your wings
Cover me
Within Your mighty hand
When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with You above the storm
Father you are King over the flood
I will be still, know You are God
Find rest my soul
In Christ alone
Know His power
In quietness and trust
When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with You above the storm
Father You are king over the flood
I will be still, know You are God [x2]
Find rest my soul
In Christ alone
Know His power
In quietness and trust
When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with You above the storm
Father You are king over the flood
I will be still, know You are God [x2]
